This is a typical half suit of armour worn by heavy cavalry at the start of the English Civil War. There are many surviving full suits of armour but illustrations show that as the war progressed the habit of wearing just the essential parts of the armour became commonplace.
This example is made from a flexible resin with a GRP closed helmet.
