Denim uniform.
This uniform was specifically designed for crew members of self propelled artillery vehicles. Known as a ‘Stug Wrap’ the tunic is a wrap around variant of the Reed Green Denim Summer uniform. This example has seen years of wear and gives the correct appearance of front line veteran soldiers who have not been re-equipped for some time. The badges denote the wearer as a Scharfuhrer, the equivilent of a Sergeant. He is wearing a woollen M43 cap and is armed with a Walther PPK 9mm Automatic Pistol.
