This Heavy Machine Gun first saw service in World War 1. It changed little in design throughout it’s service life and was used world wide by Soviet and German armies. This example is from World War 2 and is on the Soviet wheeled trail mount and has an armoured screen.
It is full functioning and fires the standard Russian 7.62x54r round.
