This is one example of a Man-At-Arms dressed for battle in the late 15th century. The white linen Gambeson has attached sleeves and straps and buckles down the front to close. The plate armour consists of Cuisses (Upper Leg and knee armour), a Gorgette with Pauldrons  (Shoulder covering). The hands are protected by articulated Mitten Gauntlets (hand guards). Finally he wears a Visored Coventry Sallet helmet. This Man-at-Arms is armed with  a Bill pole arm.
