Revolver - British 1915 Webley MkVI (Live Firing) For Hire

We have an extensive stock of small arms from the First World War period. Our Live Firing and Blank Firing small arms are available for hire for Film, TV and Theatre contracts through our section 5 armoury service. We also have deactivated and replica models of most of our stock for contracts where the weapons do not need to fire.

This is an original British 1915 Webley MkVI Revolver – 455cal . It is a practical weapon and is fully functioning.

All weapons in this hire category are capable of firing live ammunition and are therefore strictly controlled by the UK firearms act. However, for film and theatrical use, we have adapted many of our firearms to function firing blank rounds only.

All of our practical firearms are available for hire for film, television and theatrical performance on the condition that each contract is strictly supervised by an approved and qualified company Armourer.

Description:
The Webley Revolver (also known as the Webley Top-Break Revolver or Webley Self-Extracting Revolver) was, in various marks, a standard issue service pistol for the armed forces of the United Kingdom, and the British Empire and Commonwealth, from 1887 until 1963.

The Webley is a top-break revolver and breaking the revolver operates the extractor, which removes cartridges from the cylinder. The Webley Mk I service revolver was adopted in 1887 and the Mk IV rose to prominence during the Boer War of 1899–1902. The Mk VI, introduced in 1915 during the First World War, is perhaps the best-known model.
