Description

We have a selection of WW2 American ‘Outer’ ammunition crates. These would have been filled with smaller packets of ammunition. We supply all ‘Outer’ crates empty for set dressing. The internal packets are also available on request.

These Crates were developed to transport small arms ammunition safely from the manufacturing plants to the front lines. They would have been used for many other purposes after the contents had been removed.

Although stated as WW2 era, these crates would have been used for many years after WW2 and are period correct form the 1940s almost to the present day.
